In a surprising crossover event that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Revealed

According to the formal statement, "An unusual meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of banned rituals and terrifying changes echo through the darkness." The plot introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a hidden cult.

The questline centers on "strange trials and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Transformations

The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Material

Players who finish the mission will receive an exclusive katana alongside several items concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
